why can't some classmates keep to themselves?

a couple of days ago, vi (from last blog) came up to ask me and my seatmate why we don't talk and kept treating us like infants. he told us he asked because he was 'curious' (some questions should not be asked, literally leave people be) and then was like 'you guys should start talking to us more! socializing is a basic need for humans.' sure man. sure we'd like to end up as socially awkward as you and being told to shut up every second of the day. plus, there are already friendgroups established, so i'd rather not.

seriously, why can't some people stay curious for the sake of other peoples patience? it just doesn't make sense.
