Been deeply obsessed with this band as of late, these past few days I've replayed their albums, Song of Salvation and Starpath. The second one being one with WORM, another band I've enjoyed at this same time, with the album Bluenothing being one I've kept replaying as well.
The sound design is absolutely beautiful through all of these albums, the soft and groovy tunes of the guitar, all so atmospheric yet the voices that come along so raw and full of rasp. That typical black metal sound but with such a dreamy tune, creates such a mixtures of sounds that surprisingly sooths that voice as well. I still feel relaxed even through the chaos.
In Song of Salvation, Unrequited is one song I love. It is fully instrumental, but the swaying of those tunes, it feels as though you're floating on calming waters of a beach below a moonlight sky, the slow tempos of each sound introduced, each cord of the guitar, it all is so beautifully delivered.
If you've never listened to any of these records I'd so recommend doing so. WORM has a lot of more heavier albums the more you check them out, but if you're a fan of that sort of thing (as so am I) I would recommend them.
Putting the three covers here for Song of Salvation (Dream Unending), Starpath (Dream Unending and WORM), Bluenothing (WORM). LOVE the look of these illustrations, artwork that truly embodies the essence of all of these records, absolutely stunning and I'd say even an inspiration for me.

Blue nothing is such a killer album. I love the clean vocals at the end of So Many Chances.
