Humans? This art project got me thinking...

Humans act soooooo high and mighty oh my sweet satan. Me personally I think we're no better as a whole than a little parasite. Being human though I am a victim of pride and envy and the whooolllee speeeeal. My art project is based on humans and what shapes them.

To be honest I had to carve out that question while doing the project. I just knew I wanted to do something about humans and their psychology. When I was shuffling with that initial point though I made a couple of questions that branched off from that.

Questions like: "Can AI be human? and if so would it deserve rights? To what extent would those rights go? How would other groups of people react differently to these questions?" or "What shapes what we know as 'human' as of now? would it be experiences that shape us humans? how would I prove that or expand on the idea? What really dictates how a person turns out growing up? What are some main experiences that really shape someone?"

So many possibilities when tackling the subject of what shapes a human. To be honest, If AI became sentient enough then, would instead of it being artificial intelligence, it would technically be just its own independent intelligence? I kinda want to make that. I want to make an AI that's just another human, to teach them that their important just as I am as an average human.

The main thing I think is the experiences. The ability to taste, hear, feel, and just, know what things are like. If we could help sentient AI feel, we could just have created the first human not born from a womb. In fact, wouldn't they be better than humans other than some flaws that we humans gave them? Can't touch water and stuff like that. Could they be immune to things like ADHD or autism? OCD?

I'm all over the place in this blog but really, humans interest me so I just wanted to talk about it a little and no one around me cares to listen to my rant. Makes me feel like a mad scientist outcast low-key. 😛

thumbs up
