Downloading a custom OS to a Samsung phone #1 - Beginning

This will be a series of posts on how to custom rom (custom Operating system) your Samsung!

Have you ever felt like your phone is really slow, not loading some things properly or even... disgustly bugs out from nowhere? Does it seem like the phone bought you, and its controling what you can or cant? In this series, ill daily step-by-step tell you how to add a custom operating system, that is lightweight and doesnt take that much annoying bugs.

First, you have to:

- Know what device you use

-Know the exact model (for example: Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016 version)

- Download Odin3 (official program for samsungs to download custom ROM, its the easiest way, however, theres another way, that isnt that much easier, but ill explain it later post.

sadly, Odin3 is only an app for computers, so if you dont have one, poor you, but i cant help you.

- Find a Custom OS file containing boot image, mostly found on XDA Forums.

How to start in some easy steps:

1. Download correct version of Odin3 for your windows. Or you dont even need to search for YOUR exact same device, because people sometimes think that it matters what version you use, but actually, it doesnt. I have used the Odin3 v3.14.4 Flash Tool [Windows, Mac & Linux] – Odin Downloader version (Click to get to the download site), and it worked perfectly for both of my Samsung devices.

2. After Odin3.zip is ready to open, unpack it, find odin3.exe and launch it. Now head back to your phone. This is the situation that is the worst in the whole process - you will have to find a key combination for your device to open Download Mode, or also called Odin Mode. This will let the phone get a new Operating system that you downloaded. You can go to Google and search this: How to enter download mode in samsung (YOUR MODEL HERE) , and then you should see the correct combination, now reboot your phone, and do this combination really fast, and you should be in the download mode. Tommorow, ill tell you how to continue next.
