Was thinking about my general hatred of trendy things recently and realized that I actually love trendy things... but only if they were trendy 10+ years ago and have since gone out of fashion, or are a resurgence-type trend --- something old that's either become fashionable again or didn't become fashionable until relatively recently. This applies to a decently-sized chunk of the things I like, though I think it's most noticeable in terms of my music taste.
I wonder why that is

A silly Wolf
I normally don't like trendy things because of how materialistic it feels. Its nothing cool or fun, it always feels like some prestige or like it last for a week. Maybe I'm just romanticizing the early 2000s but everything is so expensive now
