Last year, while vacationing near International Falls, I found a very "graphic design is my passion" - looking DVD entitled Old Koochiching in an antique store. On this DVD was a recording of a local musical about the history of Koochiching County from 2007 --- to me, a lover of retro things, lost media, and all things cheesy and cringe, this was like the holy grail (don't come at me for calling something from 2007 retro, it was 17 years ago and I was 2 years old). My parents say it's very Waiting for Guffman - core, because it is.
But alas, I've been cursed with the world's worst frontal lobe, and so it wasn't until about 9 months after I bought it that I finally ripped the footage from the DVD and uploaded it to youtube and the internet archive, and of course I didn't post about it here for another 5. Anyway, I'm doing it now because I think everyone should see it; not because it's good --- because it's not --- but because consuming media that makes you go "wtf" is the most fun you can have while sitting alone in a dark room on your computer (this is not up for debate).
Also because it has a 100% genuine emo girl in it and near the end is a song sung to the tune of My Grandfather's Clock, which is also the music box song in FNAF 2.
Anyway, here's the link: https://youtu.be/7R61Gh0fc8w?si=pmQ3RWfDWvUTFSpC
