Dubstep phonk and music thoughts

The scenes are kind of the same

Like how they started and how they ended 

They started and subscene got really popular and producers try to make their sound "Harder" making it devolve into noise

like

dubstep---->Brostep

Phonk------->Drift Phonk

And when you think of these genres you don't think of the core genre but the subgenre. Don't you think that's odd history repeats themselves like that? I'm willing to think as phonk evolves it might reel back and refine to mirror early dubstep. I think we are due for a darker genre due to economics and the low public morale. I just wonder if its going to stem from phonk or like that cybercore Angelbass  ( like under your spell from snow stripers that typa shit) music
