how i made an eyeless jack mask for halloween!! ^_^

Haii!! It's my first try of blogging here, so im still figuring out some functions, also srry for any language mistakes!!

Sooo.. how you understood from title its about how i made an eyeless jack mask!! Some backstory: me with my friends decided to throw like uhh.. idk how to call it cuz party isn't the right word..just hang out and celebrate halloween ig?? We did sumthin like that last year and it was very fun :33 So I wanted to prepare smthin kewl and after sum thoughts i stopped on eyeless jack cuz why not??

then i made a sketch of it (ignore the text—)

i made a pattern of mask from paper and attached it on a jar!! then i made like 8-10 layers of papier mache and gave it like 2 days to fully dry!! (ik jack's mask cannonically doesn't have a nose just ignore the fact of its existence)

i painted it with white gouashe to like...so colors seem more vibrant?? idk how to call it on english i hope you understood 😭😭 than i painted it with acrylics and made the black thingys with nail polish for contrast. also its isn't even on the photo but mask has like uhhm...idk how it calls but thingys that look like eyes are black (i swear im bad at explaining just look at photos😭😭) i just painted a gauze with black paint and attached it to mask with air clay (i also made the black thingys with it) construction looks shitty but it works i promise—
