vidyas over the years

i feel like with every decade games become more and more easier. i mean duh there are some exceptions but a lot of stuff are just easy af. a great example is dmc [besides the second game], with each game in the series it just becomes easier and easier and i dont mean it like ''eugh maybe its just skill'' its fucking not the games just become way easier. and i dont know why, yeah we can just play on the harder mode but isnt easy mode for it?
