How to make Disc Rot (a sound/genre i made)

disc rot is a genre/sound(?). if u want to make this genre/sound listen to this playlist. all songs by me :D

if u want to make the Disc Rot sound follow these steps

Effects used in the Disc Rot sound:
Cymatics Origin (Vinyl, Bit Crush, Lo-Fi and many more)
the FL Stock preset "Stereo Tape Simulation"
Gross Beat

mainly use synth string or synth sounds as the melodies like "エレクトロ・ワールド(Album Version)" by perfume (DONT USE THIS SAMPLE IVE ALREADY USED IT.) Use samples or make your own melody, its okay to do both

Use Purity, Zenology and Xpand!2 for the sounds when not sampling for a song. for example i use
Purity: SynthString 1 & 3, Tiny Lead, 80's Pluck 2 and many more
Zenology: Shine Pad
Xpand!2: Soft & Bright Pads, Vocals, Arps and E-Piano's

For drums do whatever you want but if you want to make something like me use the Stock FL Drumkit called 'Drum (ModeAudio)' and use the ones with attack infront, Plugg Drums and Trap Drums

the bpm of the genre ranges from 80-160

Use vocal samples, record your own vocals or use a tts for the vocal if you want to. You dont have to use vocals in your Disc Rot song

most important have fun, experiment and dont just follow my 'rules' just do what you want (for the most part haha)
