greed

We all constantly want what we can’t have. We think we’ll find happiness once we get what we desire, different body, different class, different friends, different family, different partner, different everything. And then when we get it, we end up wanting more in some other aspect. It’s like greed is embedded within the very core of our being. You get what you want and the happiness is euphoric, being able to get complimented on how you look or finally having someone who loves you how the movies describe it, or hell, getting a fucking A on that paper you just got back. You get it and then after a while that stupid feeling comes back where you have to ruin what you have. Either you crave more or new or you start to feel that you don’t deserve the privilege you’ve been given. You feel guilty for even having these thoughts so you try to bottle them up. Or even worse, you dont get what you wanted. What then? We spiral into this loophole of constantly figure out what we did wrong to not earn it, or maybe you just aren’t worthy yet. And if not then why? What do you lack? How do you fix it? In trying to ‘fix’ yourself you realize eventually that yet again your trying to get something you want, and the process repeats over again, your hunger will never be truly satiated. You're man afterall, sin is embedded somewhere in you, its how you were created by God. Its what leads to chaos, what leads to all tthis hurt in the world.
