Do we need to be seen?

I've been thinking about creating a blog about my thoughts. I always watch things or read books that make me think a lot, but now I realize something: "Why should I show this to people?" Why should I be seen

I saw a clip from a movie where the woman said that that people got married because the other person was proof of our existence, but it's not just marriage, it's relationships in general. It's like in order to feel "seen", we choose to be in a relationship with someone. We don't have anyone to talk to about a new series we've watched, so we rush to make friends so we have someone to share it with.

Is there a need for this? Why can't we keep things to ourselves? Why do we have to comment on everything? Why do we have to post pictures of the food we eat to prove that we ate it? Posting a status saying we're happy, saying it's our first day of school, complaining about something bad that happened, you slept all day, drank too much at the previous party, had a heartbreak, heard a new song you loved, got hurt playing volleyball...

When is it anyone else's business? Can you go 1 day without sharing something about yourself with someone?

Are you just expressing yourself? Or do you feel the need to be noticed? To not spend another dull day unnoticed?
