Practicing for the Federal Duck Stamp Competiton

I am entering the Federal Duck Stamp contest for the first time in 2025! I am super hyped :) I have been a fan of the contest for a few years now. So my goal is to draw one duck a day to practice, as I haven't done many wildlife portraits lately. I used to paint many birds a few years ago, and have my whole life.

I went to the library got a bunch of books and scanned them as reference and went on some hikes and got pictures of ducks and habitats.

I reccomend people join it as it supports our wetlands in the US :3
