RRR | Pt. 8 - Family (Reo's Random Rants)

Family is the most important thing in the world, nothing comes before family. And there's nothing wrong with putting family first. Friends or even your partner should understand that as well. The biggest mistake someone could make, is go most of their life holding a grudge on their family. A family bond is the greatest kind of bond to have, because you have to live with these people almost all your life, why give them such a hard time? I understand that some people may not have the most stable family, and that's okay, but at least trying to build a bond with your family is a good step to things moving forward. You should love and appreciate your family, because you only get one.

You may have not chose to have the family you're with, but at least you were chosen to have one. Some people have to live without a family, without anyone to share a close bond with, so don't take your family for granted because you will regret it. Think about the last time you had a genuine conversation with your parents, think about the last time you hugged your sibling, or told them you love them, think about the last time you called your grandparents. If neither of those things were recent, you're doing something wrong.

But I'm just speaking from my own point of view, I don't know what anyone's family is like, I don't know if you even have siblings or grandparents, or even parents for that matter. And if you don't, I hope you have someone that feels like family to you, and I hope you love that person just as much as you'd love a family member. Okay it's gotten to the point where I'm just yapping so let me wrap this up. I guess the point I'm trying to make here is, have a bond with your family, because if you don't you'll regret it once it's too late.
