This is basically an old note i made based on this video: https://youtu.be/HdPzOWlLrbE?si=K3NBDvkos2Z3Ai3_
Simply put, it says the universe as we know it started with an infinitely hot and dense single point that inflated and stretched, first at unimaginable speeds, and then at a more measurable rate over the next 13.7 billion years to the still-expanding cosmos that we know today.
From the big bang came:
-matter
-energy
-space
-time
Two Major stages after the big bang were Radiation Era and Matter era which are defined by key events that helped to shape the universe.
Radiation Era -named for the dominance of radiation ( right after the Big Bang)
This Era is made of smaller stages that we call epochs that accured within the universes first tens of thasands of years
- PLANCK (TEMPETURE:10⁴⁰KELVIN | TIME AFTER BIG BANG:IMMEDIATE)
-No matter exsisted, Only energy
FORCES OF NATURE (supderforce)
-Gravity
-Strong nuclear
-weak
-electromagnetic
At the end of the stage a key event happened in which gravity had slip away from the super force.
- GRAND UNIFICATION (10³⁶KELVIN | TIME AFTER BUG BANG:10-⁴³ SECONDS)
named for the three remaining unified forces of nature
This epoch ended when one of the forces whitch was Strong nuclear broke away
- INFLATIONARY (10³³KELVIN | TIME AFTER BIG BANG:10-³⁶ SECONDS)
During this epoch the whoe universe rapidly exspanded it instantly grew, was extremely hot at the time and it churned with electrons, quants and other particles.
- ELECTROWEAK (TEMPETURE:10²⁰KELVIN | TIME AFTER BIG BANG:10-³²SECONDS)
In this epoc the last two forces electromagnetic and weak finally separeted from each other.
- QUARK (TEMPETURE:10¹⁶ KELVIN | TIME AFTER BIG BANG: 10-¹² SECONDS)
During thsi epoch all of the universes ingridients were present but universe was still too hot and tense for the subatomicparcitles to form
- HADRON (TEMPETURE:10¹⁰KELVIN | TIME AFTER BUG BANG:10-⁶)
In this Epoch the universe cooled down enought for quarks to bind together to form protons and neutrons.
- LEPTON (TEMPETURE:10¹² KELVIN | TIME AFTER BIG BANG:ABOUT 1 SECOND) and NUCKLEAR (TEMPETURE:10⁹ KELVIN | TIME AFTER BIG BANG:ABOUT 100 SECONDS)
In the last two stages of the radiation era the protons and neutrons fused and created nucklei and with that created thefirst chemical element in the universe, HELIUM.
Matter Era-matter era defined by the presence and predominance of matter in the universe it features three epochs that span billions of years
- ATOMIC (TEMPETURE:3,000 KELVIN | TIME AFTER BIG BANG: 50,000 YEARS)
In the first stage the universe tempeture cooled down to the point where electrons coud attach to nucklei for the first time called combination, thi proces helped create the universes second element, HYDROGEN.
- GALACTIC (TIME AFTER BIG BANG:200 MIION YEARS)
This hydrogen with helium atoms deotted the universe with atomic clouds, within the clouds, small pockets of gas may have had enought gravity to cause attoms to collect, these clusters of atoms formed during the galactic epoth became the seedlings of the galaxies
- STELLAR(TIME AFTER BIG BANG: 3 BILION YEARS)
In latest and current stage of universes development inside those galaxies, stars started to form, the new formations of stars caused a tremendous ripple effect and helped to shape the universe to as we know it today. The heat in the stars caused the conversion og HELIUM and HYDROGEN into almost all of the remaining elements in the universe with that those elemnts bacame the base for planets, moons, life, everything we see today
