The new Penacony quest (HSR)

The new Honkai Star Rail update came and I experienced it. I'm gonna tell you more.

Soooo... I really enjoyed the quest. The new area was nicely designed. I haven't explored it too much since I focused more on the story. There were some parts in the story where I just didn't really care much. But the parts that did catch me did it really hard. And of course the parts I enjoyed the most were the ones with Rappa, Mr. Reca and Boothill.

In short and what I understand: The Trailblazer crew (Us, March and Dan Heng) went to the College in Penacony since the family invited them as guest students. There has been a 'meme' going around that is also like a masscot for the college: A Monkey. But these monkeys are actually students turned into monkey and speaking in 'banagibberish'. And for the rest of the story the heros try to stop the guy who is turning people into monkeys.

I swear a story is only enjoyable for me when the characters are appealing. I really love Rappa. Her name is so fitting when she rapps talks in her ninja language. That's also a thing about her. She really views the world in her ninja lense. Really fun. But of course any fun character has to be traumatized just like everyone in Honkai. Her backstory really caught me off guard and I didn't expected, that she was experimented on :( I hated that lady, who treated Rappa like crap. I was so happy when that son of bi- nice lady was shoot. Rappa is the best and deserves all of it.

Okay, next character. Mr. Reca. Boy, was I wrong about him. I thought he would kinda have the same personallity as Aventurine (Nothing wrong with my boy. I love him) but I was mistaken. I really enjoyed how he talked in his 'director' language. He is actually a memokeeper, who also makes movies. Though, I might say that this dude is a little nuts. In that one cutscene where he was tweaking out, I thought he was one of the baddies but actually saved me in his silly little way. Anywho, 10/10. Love this new character. I hope he will be playable in the future. He is so babyboy.

Now to our favorite cyborg cowboy: Boothill. I was squeaking like a rat when I was able to play him. I just love him this much. We got more fudging action of this dude. He just made me laugh every time he talked in his funny way. And that one part where he was infected with that monkey banana virus made me giggle constantly. Also, the way he sometimes uses his gun to get his way. The way he pointed a gun at that one dude, that didn't wanted to go to the party. He is a true American indeed *Eagle noise*. In the story when he acted like his younger self I almost cried. It was so cute how he said he didn't wanted to shoot March because "It's wrong". Also, seeing a younger version of him in that scene made me so happy. Again... didn't expect Boothill angst (Not really angst but I dunno what else to call it. Maybe a little tiny bit of angst?).

Well, all in all I really enjoyed the quest. It was really bananas.
