People who draw fanarts of the same characters on that one media for years.. i would never, every week I'm changing muse π€£
I mean I do have OCs for years too, but i want it to be something someday, but fanarts? It's just self indulgence how can they not bored??

idk about other people but between my friends and I, it's all about how you can still learn something new abt a character even years after liking them and also finding ways to transform them >:3 things like creating aus that still feel original to said character. there's also the other option of eventually turning your fave into an oc :P
and like, for me, the characters i've attached myself too end up on a rotation and I just end up coming back to them, so it doesn't burn me out as bad
i've also recently dabbled in making ocs and developing their world! it's pretty much the same feeling but it's a lot more fulfilling because it's like you're working from scratch :3 only problem is that it's typically just you who has to keep making that content for yourself (though i also know many people who have OCs dear to them to the point this isn't really a problem)
ah i see that's make sense.. i also have been loyal to ships for a year probably, but not like many years?? making AUs is the best
Also yeah ah the pain of making OCs.. i gotta do it myself and maybe commission ppl (but I have tried and it doesn't came as good like what you picturing in your little minds and I'm to scared to tell them what's their mistakes)

As an artist itβs normally fine to request revisions for your commission!! Though how much they could change depends on their terms of service ^__^

no, but seriously. usually the muse is just what artstyle you're attracted to, and you copy that
I just googled that character and I understand you lol. I mean yeah good point, my friend who keep drawing that one character slowly be more similar art style with the refrence
