Be careful who you share your wealth with, lots of people are typically naive about that kind of thing or just too trusting of others. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but you never know who could end up taking advantage of you or your money. There's a large difference between offering someone money and someone asking you for money, giving someone money when you offered can be seen as a friendly gift, being asked for money and giving it to that person may make them feel like they're entitled to ask for more. And if that's the case, the more you give, the more they'll ask. You should never feel too nice to say no, unless you have plenty of money to spare or if you're certain they'll pay you back. There will be signs of this behavior that you should look out for.
1. As I said, repeatedly asking. Whether it's that person asking for more money, or constantly reminding you of the money you said you'd give them. Another person shouldn't be so worried about YOUR money
2. Avoiding making money themselves or only depending on you for money.
3. Having materialistic behavior, such as only appreciating expensive gifts
4. Not willing to share their own money or pay for things when you're out together
5. Always in financial emergencies, most diggers will tell you that they're in a desperate need of money but will never give you the reason behind it
I guess the point I'm trying to make here is, don't be too nice or too trusting, look out for these signs, and do your best to distance yourself from people like this.
