BABYMETAL rant corny alert

I really never thought I'd get attached to a music creator (well... creators?) like I got with Babymetal. I always thought of music as "a few songs I like, if they happen to be from the same creator that's purely a coincidence" but as I look through my playlist I see a shitton of Babymetal purely because it's from them.

I remember finding out about them when I was maybe 10, it was such a sensation too, Japanese music always ended up with anime openings and VOCALOID and not actual bands? I started listening to some of their songs from the 2015 album and I loved it. I loved Megitsune, Headbanger (it's on my profile, I still love it xdd), Catch Me If You Can, Gimme Chocolate, all of them were like so good I was confused. How can it be so good???? More albums. For some reason I stopped listening to them. Were their songs just thrown out of my playlist by natural selection? Who knows.

Then, years later I came back and it was PERFECT. I listened to their songs again, I learned something about the members (normalize not memorizing the bloodlines of band members you like... I just like Moa because she's cute and I don't need any more info...), perfect, ALL PERFECT. I can't understand how I managed to get over it.

I listened more, I listened to Metal Galaxy. It was a huge change from the early years. It wasn't as cutesy and stuff but still had its elements. I think it's their best album. Su has a great voice, I love u...

Babymetal were the first for me to listen to it purely because they made the music and not "I just like it and someone recommended it". I actively looked for songs from them. When they dropped THE OTHER ONE a year ago I thought I ascended... METALIZM is my favorite song ever to be honest. I can't get sick of it EVER.

This might be a bit silly but I feel like the music kinda... saved me?? In 2022 I was in a really bad condition. Listening to Babymetal was like cheering up. I woke up just to listen to it when I was getting ready for school.
