Banana matcha with strawberry cold foam ! ⟡ ݁₊ .

Hi here is my go-to recipe for matcha ! The banana and strawberry are totally optional since they are just add-ons to my og recipe for matcha brewing. They are also interchangeable so you can have a strawberry matcha with banana cold foam >< or any flavour that you want! The syrups I use are Torani & DaVinci.

Anyway, the ingredients are

⭑ 1 teaspoon matcha

⭑ Maple syrup or honey

⭑ Banana syrup

⭑ Strawberry syrup

⭑ 1 cup Milk (doesn’t matter, my favs are oat & whole milk)

⭑ Ice

- First you start with warming your water and while you’re waiting, sift out your matcha in a small bowl.

⭑ Im lazy and I boil my water for matcha but you shouldn’t do that, and just have the water warm almost hot because when it’s boiled it burns the matcha and messes with the flavor.

- Brew you matcha by adding the water and whisking. I don’t have a matcha whisk but a frother works just as good!

- After a minute or two add in some honey or maple syrup, I add just a splash.

⭑ I also use honey when I brew a low sugar, basic matcha since it just brings out that sweetness and maple syrup since it brings out that matcha flavor when I add other flavours (like banana).

-After that the matcha is pretty much done, I then like to get my cup or jar and fill 70%-75% ice

Trust me ice is so worth it. Once I started making my own drinks I get why baristas at cafes add a lot of ice.

-After the the ice is in I add 2-3 pumps of banana syrup and then add my cup of milk.

- Once my milk is in I mix it and add my brewed matcha on top! Feel free to mix it or not

- Cold foam -

1 table spoon heavy whipping cream

1 teaspoon milk

1-2 pumps strawberry syrup

Froth/whisk and add on top of the drink!

♡ Last notes

If you aren’t adding syrup to your cold foam it’s okay, you can substitute with half a teaspoon or so. You don’t exactly need any sugar so if you don’t add it it’ll still be tasty.
