In shards of glass, a life unfolds,
Fragments of a self once whole.
Can these pieces mend what's old?
Faces blur, memories untold,
Echoes of a wounded soul
In shards of glass, a life unfolds.
Past and present, intertwined, behold
A mosaic of what time stole.
Can these pieces mend what's old?
Shadows dance, both faint and bold,
On jagged edges of this scroll.
In shards of glass, a life unfolds.
From broken parts, new patterns mold,
A canvas painted, edge to pole.
Can these pieces mend what's old?
As dawn breaks, truth's light enfolds,
Revealing beauty in this role.
In shards of glass, a life unfolds;
These pieces now mend what's old.
