Helloooo!
Do you guys like to read? I personally mainly read mangas, but I read normal novels too, sometimes...(only fiction unless occult) I'm extremely slow, tho. I end up scrolling on my phone mindlessly as my book withers away next to me. I got The Foxhole Court recently and I haven't even TOUCHED it yet. But this blog is abt smth else.
Although I haven't finished many books yet, I'm still looking for recommendations! (In case I'm dones some day...)
I really like horror and stories about trauma and violence that don't romantize anything.
Perhaps smth that isn't too s3xual. That makes me uncomfortable. A little bit is ok, but it shouldn't be extreme. For instance, I personally regretted getting 'They All Died Screaming' (idk if that was right) It was too s3xual for my liking. I get that it's supposed to be disturbing, but I genuinely felt nauseous.
A book that I did like is:
Sour Candy by Kealan Patrick Burke. That was AWESOME! 10/10, would recommend!
Anyway, I really like stories abt cults, mental hospitals, children (again, not s3xual).
I dislike if it's abt romance. Like, a couple fighting cus one doesn't believe the other. I also dislike Sci-fi most of the time

One book I’ve read is Faerie by Eisha Marjara! It’s based on the author’s experience being in a mental hospital long-term as a teen for her ED.
That sounds really interesting. And it's based on own experiences, too.

Oh, that one sounds interesting. I checked out the summary. Is it slow, though? I mean, do intense things happen regularly or is it mostly unnecessary dialogue. Idk if I make sense (*T▽T*)
I get bored easily, unfortunately...
Like with Good Omens. I love Aziraphel and Crowley and the whole idea of it, but things develop slowly... to me, at least.
