life is good

got a job a few days ago and today was orientation. my employee number ended up not being processed in the system, which was annoying, but nothing i can't handle lmao (it'll be fixed by monday so all is good). i've been excited to get a job. menial tasks are things i really enjoy, surprisingly enough, plus i get paid for it (i was also informed that i get a bonus for proving my vaccination status - two hours of pay per shot that i've gotten, which ends up at $60 for me!).

i've been playing a lot of minecraft recently, and tomorrow, i'm going to beat the ender dragon with a friend of mine and possibly one of her friends that ive heard lots of good things about. i'm genuinely super excited because i've been wanting to talk to her more, plus the other friend is really cool and i've been wanting to talk to him, too!

had stupidly good luck a few days ago, but today, my luck was stupidly bad. kinda funny to think about it.

i might use this site more often, but from what i've heard, its a very social place (which is cool! im just not a very social person lmao). i'll probably just blog stuff and if people like it, they like it.

it's kinda weird to write blog posts like this, since my mom did the same thing through her pregnancy with me and my younger brothers. sometimes i'll take a look back at her blog and think about what was going through her head back in the early 2000s. she writes a lot like me (maybe she's autistic too?) and posted a few childhood anecdotes i love to look back on. here's a conversation about halloween between my mom and a 3-year-old me, as my mom wrote it on her blog

me: ‘You can be a pumpkin, or a lion, or whatever you want.’

mom: 'How about I be a mommy?’

me: 'Ummm.  I don’t think that’s a good idea.’
