So yet again I have rediscovered this website, it's been a bit. I have exciting news though. I recently saw Creeper and Twin Temple live and oh my god do I have stories.
First of all, Creeper is the sickest band ever, but we knew this. I had never heard Twin Temple before this show and OH MY SATAN are they epic. Who knew Satanic do wop could be so cool? They're also such a sweet band and are all for inclusivity, which is fucking epic. I made some friends with some Twin Temple fans while we were camping out and they were so sweet. I even got a rose from someone :) Overall I will definitely be getting into them more and more because they're unlike any other band I have ever seen!! So awesome.
As for Creeper, I hated it sooooo much ugh they were so awful :(((
Okay but seriously I'm an addict for Creeper dude. I got front and center for them, Waited all day in line in the most uncomfortable boots and all of my fake blood dried to my face, it felt awful. Although when we were in line they were walking the streets and I got to wave to them all so that was epic. However all of that waiting was worth it when they started playing.
First song, I was screaming my head off. Like I always do at shows. I was pointed out a few times, and I thought that was the end of it. It was an amazing show though. The theatrics were everything to me and they all played so so well.
So yay I had a good night and now the show is over. Or not.
Like I said before I was front and center, which was awesome. What was more awesome is that when they threw out the setlists to the crowd I got one, but then Jake walked up to me personally and handed me one. It was crazy. I told him I already had one though so he gave it to another fan. I thanked him and went back to the merch table. Guess who was working merch? Hannah. So i asked her to sign my setlist and she did! I also got a picture with her! Not to mention I bought one of the signed drum heads from the band which was sick to be able to add to my collection.
Now the night was over. Just kidding.
As we watched Twin Temple play I noticed two very familiar faces. Ian and Will. So I asked for them to sign my setlist too, because hey, they were right there. Well this quickly unraveled into Will and I talking about how good Twin Temple was and how I should really come to London sometime. We had a really nice conversation and oh my god he's so sweet and funny, overall just this goofy cool guy. Well we stopped talking while Twin Temple played, I was just kinda dancing along to the music and he took notice of it and we started dancing in the back of the venue. It was so fun. I got to talk with like half of Creeper and they all liked my makeup and they were all so sweet and kind and understanding!! Best show everrrrrrr!!! Like seriously half the time you have to pay to even get a picture with some bands, but these guys were so genuine and loved making time for their fans. They're there to have fun and you can tell. Their happiness is truly contagious.
Go check out Twin Temple, they'll become your new addiction.
As for Creeper, go listen to them too, you'll be hooked. Go see a show. Yknow. Do all the fun stuff, you might even make some friends. They're finally getting all the attention they deserve in America and it's so bittersweet. A small selfish part of me just wants to keep them to myself because they're such an incredible gem. On the other hand, I hope they become the biggest band out there. They deserve all of it. They're driven, dedicated, and downright silly. I couldn't have asked for a better show. For a better band. For better people to be around. It was unforgettable, and I can't wait to see them again.
Maybe even in London ;)
but yeah. I'd swear on my soul (If I had one) that they'll be the best band you ever listen to.
