Possum is about Philip, a puppeteer forced to confront his fears and his past when back to his childhood house.
What possum does combining it's visual horror — I don't get easily scared by monsters in horror movies, but that spider thing sent a shiver on my spine — and the psychological aspect is phenomenal! This movie is haunting, it not only scares you, but it disturbs you. Really uncomfortable watch, a great reflection about what years of abuse does to someone's mind. I knew that man was f*cked up, but I didn't realize how bad it was or how that connected to the whole possum thing.
This film is very slow, uncomfortable and monotonous, but if you're like me and love psychological horror, give it a shot!! I'll give it a 8/10.
