Red Movies is the name of the only studio album by early-mid 80s very obscure UK synth band Play. Seattle record label Medical Records appears to own their distribution rights and they're available on both Spotify and Apple Music. I think they're good! Remind me a little bit of The The and Fiction Factory. (Though are also quite inspired by Human League, Ultravox and David Bowie) Thank you somafm for introducing me to these two* pasty chaps. (Singer Wayne Kennedy and other guy David Rome. I've seen some people report it as a one-man band, Wayne, with David only helping.)
Each song fades out.
Note that the production is a little bit heavy on the reverb so these aren't official or anything. I'll be putting any notes I have in [red brackets] for easy removal.
If somehow you're a fan of this band and you think I got a lyric or two wrong... sorry! Please tell me. These lyrics are free to use without credit.
