hey y'all!!! what are you guys' favorite planets and/or constellations??
i love stargazing, it makes me feel at home and at peace :)
anyway! my favorite constellation is the Orion one, which is very easy to recognize by the 3 stars that make its belt :3
my favorite planet is Saturn bcs of the big rings! but i also like Pluto even though it's not a planet anymore (it is in my heart <3)
if you look up at the sky, you can currently see Jupiter next to the moon!! :0 it looks like a very shiny star!

it’s wonderful to hear about your passion for stargazing! I’m fascinated by how every star has its own story. I’ve spotted Orion's Belt a few times, and i’m looking forward to seeing Cassiopeia become more visible around November
I completely agree—the rings of Saturn are absolutely amazing! I also watched a video that showcased the sounds of the planets and it was such a captivating experience.
I’ll definitely try to see if i can spot Jupiter tonight, thanks for the info! :D
I've seen Cassiopeia a few times! winter constellations are the ones I'm more used to seeing, but I've seen multiple other constellations, mainly the zodiac ones and both big and little dipper. :3
I've also seen that video! it's incredibly interesting how the planets can generate these different and wild sounds, our solar system is still so mysterious!! :)
one good way to spot planets in the sky is either by their size or color!! mars usually has a reddish/orangy color, jupiter is very shiny and most of them stay near the moon when they are most visible.

I dont know the constellations well but Saturn is pretty and Jupiter looks cool and I saw Uranus through a telescope once, that was awesome

I think they're helllllla expensive but yeah they're awesome. maybe in the future
