I ❤️ Jean-Michel Basquiat & Thundercat

Basquiat & Thundercat are some of my favorite artists for the exact same reason. I really love how both of their works give off the same feeling to me. Every time I hear Thundercat play, it always seems like you're listening to a wall of sound, but with a clear-cut window to look through to the other side. Like it is the most advanced you could be without leaving a certain realm of simplicity, same as Basquiat. It feels just leveled out enough to be replicated easily, but then you look into how much work it would take to actually replicate these pieces and it's nearly insurmountable. They are so integral to how I am and I love em dearly, much respect.
