i changed my mind, self titled is the best blink-182 album.

i used to think dude ranch was the best blink-182 album because of its raw skate punk sound. while i still do love the album, I've given self titled a relisten, and then another, and then one more after that. its.. quite literally perfect. the mix is amazing, the guitars sound awesome, i get goosebumps during that transition between stockholm syndrome interlude and stockholm syndrome, it's  all perfect. I used to not like it because it didn't sound like enema of the state or dude ranch, but now i love it because it doesn't. you can tell that blink really took in other influences in the making of it, from post hardcore to even freaking hip hop, man. it's a top tier album, and i think at this point i can say its my favorite blink-182 abum.
