wake up.
the whole world is turning against us. first it was black people in the apartheid era, then jews in WW2, gays in the AIDS crisis, now it's us. the world is blaming us for all the problems in society, and we're expected to just be okay with it.
i need you all to open your eyes and realize what this world is like. everyone will put any excuse just to further ostracize us from society: to them we're all perverts, mentally ill, attention seekers... but it doesn't matter what they say about us, the truth is that they want us all gone, or at least quiet enough to forget that this is a real life issue, as much as they want to sugarcoat and disimulate it.
with the excuse of "protecting children", transphobes have made everyone agree that it's best that we quite literally just stop existing, we can't go to public bathrooms, school or sports without someone turning our existence into a debate. and sometimes you just want to live a normal life. all of this while they push trans children closer to suicide.
trans people are THE minority right now, we're constantly being brought up as a political weapon instead of being treated like humans, transphobia has been getting more normalized lately and hate crimes are at rise, but any attempt you make to fight back will be seen as a "violation of free speech" by most people. we're always the butt of the joke but the second you ask someone to treat you like an actual person they'll say you get offended easily and some shit like "not everyone has to agree with you". and i'm sick of this.
i don't care anymore if you use neopronouns or call yourself a transmed, even if we all don't think the exact same we should stop dividing ourselves further because that's all these people want. they benefit from all these internal diagreements because they make us more vulnerable to their attacks. please realize that the rights and freedom of us all are at a constant threat no matter how privileged you think you are. we should fight together against the ideas that want us dead instead of sabotaging our own community over things that don't even matter that much in real life.
and what can you do about it, you might ask:
obviously it's not that easy, especially if you live in a country where most people aren't supportive of personal freedom. i'm not saying you have to go out to protest or throw bricks at people or anything like that, at least be aware of the discrimination we're currently facing. this is really iimportant because a lot of it is disguised as humor or free speech. never tolerate any kind of transphobia: if your friend makes a hurtful comment about a trans person on purpose, call them out. correct people when they deadname someone. educate that relative who thinks that all trans women are pedophiles, but don't just take it if they refuse to listen to you. i know it's hard but maybe we can make a change all together.
if you're cis this also applies to you, you should never tolerate transphobia, or any kind of discrimination in general. but please listen to trans people, understand our feelings and problems so you can help us more efficiently. it's great to see cis allies, but please don't talk over trans people in our issues because it may actually have an undesired negative effect.
to end this all, i just have to say that it will get better, trust me. transgenderism is already backed up by science no matter what some idiots might tell you, so all their hate speech will quickly be disproved sooner or later. the transphobia you might be facing everyday will eventually disappear, or at least it won't be as bad as it is, people's minds can change and even if that's impossible remember that one day you will be able to completely cut off from them.

ok but when did I even mention the Holocaust. I talked about Jews in that era because they were being blamed for every problem in society, ostracized and hate crimed (wow doesn't that sound familiar?), which yes later became a massive genocide.
I never said anything about the 8 million people who were killed much less compared struggles because that's a fucked up thing to do yet that's all you're choosing to remember from my original blog.

Im transfem, i go to school, and i am VERY lucky that the principal is transmasc, we have gender neutral bathrooms, AND, transphobia in any sort of can lead to suspension or expulsion
