1. Unsent.

You speak of me as the placeholder of the moon, though I envision you as the backdrop—the sky—that allows stars to shine through, to perform their final song, to allow those you deem worthy to radiate bright enough for those below to admire. 

In the midst of the unending nights, the sky is one to put others on display; the suns, moons, planets, and constellations are capable of their titles because of the curtains that lie in the background.

forgot to add: when you don't fully understand what something means but you like it anyways, thats how you know you have a talented writer on your hands

Thank you so much, Morty. I wrote this piece about those who don’t see the beauty they harbor within themselves and how they might assume they’re not significant. Without the “sky” (themselves), nothing else would be capable of shining.
