October 18th

Finally got new everyday shoes! I only have 1-2 pairs of shoes at time, and I've been wearing my admittedly pretty ratty looking ones for maybe a year or two now. I'll honestly wear shoes till they fall apart but it's nice to get a new pair every couple years. I can't wear the new ones just but when I go on on the 19th for a follow-up appointment at the pediatist I'll likely walk out in them. Also gonna be picking up my new custom orthotics then. It's been atleast five? Maybe six or seven years since my last set.

One thing I will say though is that I'm actually pretty bummed about it being on the 19th. There's a volunteer restoration day on the 19th from 9am-12pm and my appointment is right in the middle!! Meaning I can't attend </3

It ain't all bad though, on Sunday the 20th I'll be going going down to the comic/game place I like. The 3rd Barfly issue should be in by then and since Soph lives right by there we're gonna meet up for a bit! Maybe grab lunch and look around. Super excited for that, she's genuinely such a lovely person.

I skipped school on Thursday since I had an awful headache. Weirdly enough my absence was mentioned by a few folks, really wasn't expecting anyone to notice or care all that much. Kinda nice knowing my presence adds something to the lives of oothers. Overall it was a decent week, the afternoon driver still isn't one consistent person but it is a consistent rotation of sorts. I remember having left school in good spirits today. Just a tiny bit of homework I need to do. I have a B in my English class as of this week. I think with that my grades are entirely A's & B's, not too damn shabby if I do say so myself.

My Aunt's annual pumpkin carving party is coming up too, really hoping it's next weekend as opposed to this weekend. Me and my mother already picked up some pumpkins while at the grocery store. Got myself a nice fat one. One could argue that most things are better fat.

Well that concludes this, it's like 11pm. Better get a move on if I wanna wake up early.
