[RP BLOG] Does anyone know anyway to ACTUALLY apologize to someone?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone here knows how to apologize to someone whom I've previously wronged, you see, I am truly sorry and yet I'm unsure if they would even accept it. Is there anyway to make it a bit less harsh? Thanks in advance.
