What is going on in tiktok?

I have found myself scrolling and reading comments on tiktok and it seems there is a bomb in such stuff in title. I wanna understand why people think 4chan is still like in 2000 to 2011, 4chan is not such horrible place still people wanna believe even if "anons" view it as really bad (because some are really degenerates, i have seen some pretty horrible stuff in there still..). 4chan is not all /b/ and /pol/ and no you are NOT superior or cool for using it or not.

Its always been that 4chan users are edgy and love to say stuff that is very offensive like its a normal thing like for example slurs, but for sure, they dont go around making cutesy drawings of themselves and their "ocs" in that one military uniform or with guns, if you like guns go to /k/ (if you truly like em not just draw an ak-47 and act all edgy..) if you like history go to /his/ (if you actually like history and not just a very sensitive, deep, interesting, and serious topic that you take as a joke to make yourself unlikeable and feel special..) if you like drawing maybe go to /c/ for reference (since i have seen many of these like the moe anime artstyle from the 2000s or the 90s even).

I think most of these dont use or have ever went inside 4chan for an actual interest or hobby of theirs but rather seen youtube videos about the most "iconic" stuff that has happened in or outside of there or stuff very weird and degenerate.

I, a person that likes to consume a bit of everything and mostly media made by and for the internet like in newgrounds or youtube/devianart/flipnote animations and trends, think this isnt bait and that this must be like a kind of phase like we all have had even if its not as bad as this is and that once one year pass there wont be any or at least not as much. Young people as young as me will try doing stuff like this (we eat unhappy meals now after all) for the edgyness, some may develop into a serious interest like drawing manga or anime and others may just forget about it and be like "ough i was soo cringe back then.." like how about 5 or 7 years ago people were making furry flipaclip animations with angels and demons and sans self shipping.

(This also comes for some if not the majority of tcc “fans” i have seen on the internet, yes i know i have some tcc users on my friend list)

Jokes about minorities and serious themes may be funny sometimes but when it gets really dark it may be not, you just need to know when its too far, death (fake, fiction or really really well known cases or that are old, like titanic, 9/11, THAT one submarine we all know..) and gay jokes (like those twink, youre gay, taste the rainbow, girly pop jokes on straight fictional men and characters) may be pretty funny but for sure r@p3 and children p0rnM is not.

Dont keep these thoughts to yourself, if you know it wrong, seek help please. Its better to be ashamed of saying it and trying to get better than doing something REALLY illegal later and destroying people's lives.
