Has anyone else noticed that if you have any sort of interest of animals and dress up your gaming avatar as the animal you fond cool, people automatically think you're a furry and hate so quickly

Furries have been the target of mockery and ridicule for as long as people on the internet have known about them. Thankfully that doesnt seem to have stopped most of them from pursuing that hobby.
As for what to do about it, Idunno, ignoring them is probably the best bet but you could always just own it. What's so wrong about being a furry? What, you dont like any animals enough to put them in your profile pic? Something like that. Shaming would-be bullies is sometimes all it takes to shut them up, especially if they are on their own.
