flip phone or no?

i came here to take some of people's ideas and option picking so the thing is i wanna buy a flip phone and i need to fill you up with a quick story so you can understand 

here's the story :

i'm a high school student and my school is near my house just a couple of 4 or 3 street crosses, i'm one of these students who go to school everyday but missing it is not something unless physically or mentally unwell. i keep on skipping cause i got no one to take me there 

but you can walk there right? i mean your house is near the school 

i wish i can but i live in a culture that believes this is unacceptable because i'm a girl (if you live or lived in middle east you catched my drift) and due to my parents who is strict to this stuff i get no chance to go on and do it

so a few days ago my mom was notified about a new feature from uber "teens" this feature allows you to send your child to school and get them back while tracking them with the company itself so you don't have to worry about danger happening. it also picks only 5 stars drivers. my mom loved the idea until she used this stupid fucking reverse card on me "let your brothers decide" like no i won't! 

here's where the phone comes in, in our school (all of schools apparently) stricts you to bring your phone with you and this is a problem, i told her why don't i buy i small phone like nokia  when i'm going and when i go in ill give it to a counselor or someone from the office to take it and give it back when it's time to leave so i can contact you and see where's my uber 

in this case i'm still thinking about it, let me know what you think!
