From Zero coming out soon!

I'm very excited for the new Linkin Park album. It created quite a diversion in the community as some viewed it as disrespectful towards the late great Chester Bennington, and some were just happy that their favorite band is back. I'm a part of the latter, to be honest. I was born in 2000 and Linkin Park has been a big part of my life. Growing up in Istanbul, I usually listened to Turkish music and wasn't even able to speak English back then. Back in 2004-5 (when I was literally a little guy who had no clue about rock music) a neighbor made me listen to Hybrid Theory and Meteora. I immediately fell in love with that music and even though I couldn't understand the meaning of it back then, I gradually started to analyze the lyrics and learn what it meant. Back in 2017, when the obvious thing happened, I remember crying for days and being extremely sad. Call it a parasocial relationship, but I don't remember being that sad for a stranger ever before that. I had the chance to catch the From Zero livestream to watch it on time not knowing what was going to happen, and I literally smiled and cried and felt tons of feelings watching that stream. I love the first two singles, I think Emily Armstrong is extremely talented and I genuinely, with all my heart, feel that Chester would be absolutely proud. (Seeing Mike, Brad, Dave and Mr. Hahn happy on stage is the cherry on top.)

I can't wait to listen to the full album, honestly. Let's see how this new era will go!
