"Can we bring back__" "can we start ___" literally why do you guys need something to be the trendiest thing on social media in order for you to wear or do something that you like? What happened to creativity we once had. why do you need a group of many people to decide what's in and what's out? Why do I see people online asking, "what are we getting for Christmas this year?" "What clothes are we buying this year" or "what backpack are we getting this year" Like what happen to originality? asking for inspiration is one thing but literally get whatever YOU want something doesn't have to be trendy in order for you to get something or do something that YOU like because you are your own person and you're just making yourself miserable because you want to stay in the trend instead of making your own decisions. trends change all the time but that doesn't mean you should have to change too.

Fr tho. At first when I saw these then i was also like ''hmm so true tho'' but eventually it clicked for me. like... who is stopping me? who is stopping me to go for the style what isn't trendy anymore? literally no one. And now all those posts just start to irritate me more and more. The most recent one what I saw was smth in the lines of ''can we normalise wearing chokers again?'' girL!! JUST WEAR THEM!!! OMG?!?! there are still people who wear them, cmon!!!
this group mentality of needing to fit in a certain box, curated by certain people, the ones who are in charge of trends. taking away the thinking for themselves point. in a way it is also some sort of manipulation tactic to manipulate the groups, the less people think for themselves and do things for themselves, the more it is easier to make them just follow the one line (a lot of the times, not the good line)
annoying as heck
yesss literally like it doesnt matter if something seems "outdated" theres always going to be a community for everyone that has the same interest as you!
