the overwhelming nature of the ie/oc/la scene

being the us' largest metropolitan area, idk why i expected this scene to be calm. sac is calm, this... this is not calm. so much going on all the time. idek how many shows i can't go to because there's so much overlap. gotta choose who i wanna see, and if i can even bear to stand for 6+ bands in a set. most of the bands don't even have stuff out yet. i love the myspaces sound revival tho. this scene is beautiful but DANG. when do they sleep.
