I want to make pumpkin pie extra spooky

Hello! I am looking for ways to make the best pumpkin pie from scratch. I went to the local farmers market and bought two sweet pumpkins to take out the pumpkin guts and put it in a pie crust. I know there is more to it than that but if anyone knows any better way than the standard online recipes or neat tricks lmk and ill try it for the ultimate pumpkin pie of ultimate spooky destiny.
