girlhood

When GIRLS go on and say things like "girlhood is corny" "girlhood is toxic" they don't understand the ACTUAL meaning for it!!!   Girlhood, in my best wording, is experiences every girl goes through collectively.   Small interactions like giving another girl (stranger) your hair-tie when she needs one, or asking another girl (again, a stranger) to borrow a makeup product.   It's a term for being there for other girls because you understand them, ITS NOT A BAD THING.      Girlhood is girls supporting girls.. and you cant call yourself a 'girls girl' if youre a clean girl shaming a scene girl or emo girl.. You can't call yourself a 'girls girl' and say you support other girls when you spot a girl who's different than you and proceed to make fun of them..  thats making you look stupid and ugly.  being rude = ugly in my book.

girlhood isn't just for the 'coquette' 'clean girls',  it's for all who are girls.  For some reason I've noticed people only consider girls who are in certain aesthetics are apart of 'girlhood'. First handed I've seen i too;  I KNEW a preppy girl who would always rant about how the 'girls girl' mindset is only for a certain group of girls, girls who were feminine and clean.   Like what.. it's called 'girls girl' not 'feminine clean girls support girls who are also only clean and feminine'
