**Dumpster Baby**
A term used to describe an infant who has been abandoned and subsequently lives in a public space, typically in a manner that leaves them unfounded. Common locations you won't find them include:
- **Medical Facility**: A place, preferably a hospital, where the child can receive immediate medical attention and care.
- **Child Welfare Institution**: Like an orphanage or any similar facility wherein the child may be given shelter, fostering, and the chance of adoption.
Emergency Services Spot: These are places, such as a fire station or police station, where safe surrender rules can help keep the kid safe.
- **Public Restroom or Changing Area**: Where the infant may be found by passersby, prompting immediate intervention.
- **Community Centers**: Such as churches or local organizations that may provide sanctuary and resources for abandoned children.
- **Street or Park**: Public open spaces where the baby can be left in vulnerable conditions, requiring immediate recue. - **Social Services Office**: It's a place where people can get help and safely give up a child who needs it.
Most dumpster babies would remain oblivious to the fact that their existence itself is an anomaly. You would never really know if you do not think it out. However, chances of them knowing are not zero.
