shorter than 8 letters

october is my favourite month.

“why?” why wouldn’t it be? it’s bang in the middle of tacky christmas and spooky season. 

everyone has fun deciding what they want to dress up as for halloween this year! its cool to watch my friends as trick or treat preparations play out. 

i tend to look forward to this tenth month of the year a lot. maybe it’s because i only have good memories from october, even if things are going horribly wrong. i manage to find a sense of solace from the sharp bite from the cold air that leaves my nose a particular shade of rouge.

it gets dark incredibly quickly, but i don’t mind.

what i particularly dislike is how fast the month slips away… 

october is short, but i always manage to leave with another souvenir to take to the next year with me!
