Omg I haven't been like, ACTIVE active on here in a while. Tbh I'm probably just gonna get off when I'm done with this lmao. Anyway since I've already survived a quarter of the school year, I wanted to get on here and recap as much as I remember. So if you read my first entry, you may or may not know that I was NOT looking forward to this year because of the use of yonder pouches and cramming half the school into one area during lunch. Still not happy about it but yk not much we can really do about it. I do like most of my classes tho :D I'm taking ap english and ngl I thought I'd like die in that class but it's not too bad! My science class is more of a self study class, but the work isn't necessarily too hard and the teacher leaves a few videos for some of the assignments. It's really the tests that get me but it's alright me and my friends just get bored alot. The hardest classes I have are my math classes, but if I find a way to stop falling asleep in my first one I can get rid of that class sooner, especially since I'm in the second half of it :) Now for crazy shit:
Football (probably not even crazy lmao):
I don't remember much of anything that happened before the first football game, but that game was ok. I'm in choir, so we have to sing at the beginning of home games, but me and my friend usually stay for fun. We thought this game would be done at the usual time, but the thing is when the timer ran out, there was a tie😀 I don't really understand the rules to football, but like I would've been ok with like them going until the tie had been broken the FIRST time. But tell me why they went on for another HOURRRRR!!!! Like, by the time the game finished, there had been FOUR OTHER TIES between us and the other team!! Like no way someone wasn't making bets😭😭😭 The second game was even crazier lol. Like it started out normally right? But then not even halfway through the commentator made an announcement on the speakers saying that there was a lightning watch, so all the players got off the field, and then everyone on the bleachers had to go under them for 30 minutes. There had to be like, at LEAST 200 people, it was super loud and crowded, but like I lowkey loved it🤭🤭🤭 Wouldn't you know it, but the storm was literally 13 miles away from us and there wasn't any signs at all! The rest of the game was goofy, and stupid, so much so that it was the most entertaining football game I've ever been to. Like I'm not sure whether the stupidity was more on our team's end or the other team's but there was like a lot more pushing around than at a usual game. Not to mention there were like two on field fights, the second one leaking onto the sidelines. Idk about you guys but that stuff doesn't really happen at our games. But also the scores would NOT change for a good hour bc everyone was so focused on pushing the opposite team rather than the ball and at the beginning of one of the plays when everyone was in that formation thing at the start one of the players from the other team started playing leapfrog or something like he hopped over one of the other players in front of him like wtaf💀💀💀 and I got it on video too lol. Anyway we won that too. Ik this section might be a bit long but like I'm not even a fanatic I just stay at these things bc I have nothing else better to do with my nights lmao.
At school stuff:
Ok so ik its only October but like not a lot has happened this year so far, at least not that I'm aware. The first crazy thing that happened was a few weeks ago when during lunch one of the microwaves almost blew up bc someone put ramen in there and forgot to add water. And left it in there for like at least a minute. Me and my friends were just eating lunch at our table and we saw an ap and a janitor wheel it out into the courtyard, open it, and a shit ton of smoke came out. Everyone gathered around it to look and stuff. That was about it for that thing. Right after that happened everyone crowded around the kid that brings his electric guitar to school, so we got a concert that day too, yippee :DDD I had also bought a camera about a month ago but the card it came with only held like 11 pictures/videos and I finally got a card with enough storage (like 2 whole GB :DDDDD) like last Saturday and I've taken over 100 pictures/videos on it already! <img src="https://photos.app.goo.gl/YGLnjnRrhFtmPsqZ9"/>
Choir stuff:
We also had a concert around the time of the microwave incident I believe, It went pretty well. Btw the 9-12 region songs for my state were wild lmao. 3 of the songs were familiar, one of them literally being an a cappella arrangement of UNWRITTEN by NATASHA BEDINGFIELD😭😭 with BACH EMBEDDED INTO THE BRIDGE😭😭😭 like tbh it didn't even sound too bad it just sounded more Christmas-y bc of the Bach part but honestly I liked that one as well as the other songs we did, especially the treble pieces. About a week before the concert we had the region auditions and ngl I thought I ate with the cuts they gave us but the chair that I got was in the 40s 💀 istg it felt like the judges were humbling people left and right but tbf there were like around 120 altos and probably even more sopranos and in a room filled with kids from a region's worth of schools there are going to be SEVERAL top tier singers, especially with the notes and dynamics we had to hit!! Btw good luck to all the 9-10 auditioners <3333 Last Thursday we also had another concert that we left school early for, that one was really fun, especially since us and other schools got to be a flash mob :DD We only sang for a few songs for the entire concert but there was acting involved in the entire thing and there was so much emotion!!!!!
Concluding statements:
I was actually so scared I wouldn't pass this 9 weeks bc of science and procrastinating on my entries for english (I got it done💪) but I actually ended up passing everything with at least a 70!!! this past weekend was great too, we didn't have school Friday, but I got up early for senior sunrise, which was sm fun it was super dark when I got there (obviously) and I hung out with friends, some people brought speakers to play music. It was all just a really good vibe :DD
P.S. gonna figure out how to make the pictures show just not rn bc I need sleep ;u;
