maybe check out places like
minga London,trashkouture.com, depop, ebay and just like thrift stores and charity shops in general but most things like that are hard to find without being too expensive so you should try to diy.

this is prolly gonna be a long comment...
-for the shirt - its either one that you have to buy BUT if you're an artistic person you could probably buy a plain black tee and draw that design on it with bleach/some other sort of fabric paint (but bleach will last the best). if you don't want to make it yourself then honestly you just have to be really diligent in your thrifting. garage sales/clothing exchanges are a REALLY good way to find actually good clothes for cheap.

-for all the chokers, harnesses, belts etc, you can either buy them from places like spencers/hot topic OR buy a bunch of rivets/pyramids online and sew/glue (if you're really brave) them onto regular belts/bracelets.

-the chains can either be made completely DIY by gluing together pop can tabs or by buying chains from thrift stores - imo buying the chains is the best way cause there's usually a bunch in the jewelry section.

-tbh I'm not too sure for the skirt - it looks like tulle or something and I think you could buy a regular black skirt and cut it up (like put some holes and rips in it) and then sew some of that tulle material on. you'll probably be able to find tulle in things like wedding veils, scarves, and inner skirt layers at thrift stores. all you'd have to do is dye it black and then sew some on - the skirt in the picture looks like its stuck on pretty haphazardly.
(you could probably also use shorts and sew tulle on them)

-the leggings look pretty easy to find - look in halloween or just regular activewear sections for leather leggings and rip them up. looks like shes connected the rips with safety pins.

-for the boots it might be something like tulle (or maybe just something else see-through) again - and she's just kinda wrapped it around and secured it with safety pins. once again, just find some in wedding veils, skirts, or scarves and dye it black.

-the actual boots themselves are just ones you'll have to buy... i found some similar ones for 10 dollars at a garage sale so trust me you DO NOT have to splurge - just be patient and keep an eye out.

i hope this is all coherent cause I am NOT proofreading allat :) remember the biggest thing is just time - that's why its hard to get into punk styles because it takes a lot of time to build up your wardrobe and a lot of DIY. good luck!

The origin of many punk/ alternative looks are actually in DIY designs. They never had clothing like this in stores so people would make it themselves. Cut an old t shirt up and tie or link the pieces back together. Find some tights and cut them up. Pieces of chain from old jewelry or ever hardware stores. That tutu is just a piece of mesh you can rework yourself and add a belt. Make your own designs with bleach on black fabric. Those boot covers are just extra fabric wrapped around the base of the shoe. The whole outfit is totally possible with a little craftiness. Get creative with it and you'll have a badass one of a kind piece!

Oh thanks!! I should have clarified perhaps some more, I get the do it yourself uniqueness, I do that with my present clothes, cutting/marking up and pinning, etc. My main problem is actually finding materials or patterns that are actually fitting. I look in thrift stores and sometimes find good finds though!! Good idea with the bleach though I hadn't thought of that one.
