haaaiii everyone, first blog post! finally. completely forgot about this site, and then conveniently thought "if only i had a blog as a 2000s/2010s teenager". i WILL be rawring, XDing, the works.
i was originally going to say, imagine how mad i'd be if i wasn't a twenty one pilots kid & they blew up today and i saw everyone calling them emo... but i actually concede that their music IS emotional, just the production isn't rooted in hardcore in the slightest obv. i'd say that statement better fits panic! at the disco; i don't think any of their music reads as "emo" so if i heard people saying that today i truthfully might get a little snobby about it i guess. but ofc it's still banging, and there were plenty of aspects that appeal to emos (such as the aesthetics of afycso or that other album with the steampunk-y type look) including their earlier sound. emos love the dress-shirt-and-tie type of look or a quirky alternative suit even if the artist themselves aren't emo (green day, mcr, tally hall). don't take what i say too seriously, this is just what i'm thinking about at this point in time lolzies :P
