Okay so this was in July, I went on a trip to Japan with some other girls my age (a quinceañeras trip, something common in Mexico).
We all went through the customs process where you need to fill 2 papers full of information like your name, birth date, where you will stay in the country, etc.
When it was my turn in customs, the guy checked the papers, and my passport and then gave it all back to me, he signaled I couldn't pass since I was missing some stuff on the second paper, which I noticed was my sign (my complete name since I'm still a minor).
I wrote it and then went back, but then again he said no and signaled a specific part of the paper and just said "Date", and my brain immediately thought "Oh, my fate of arrival to Japan", so I wrote that days date.
But when I went back he rolled his eyes (I almost cried) and gave me all my papers back, so again I couldn't pass. Another assistant saw I was struggling and reached out to help me, I told him I didn't knew what was wrong and he then told me "He meant your birth date, not today's" and I was like "oh!".
I mean, 40% my fault and 60% THE OTHER'S GUY FAULT CUZ WHY DON'T YOU SPEAK ENGLISH WHILE WORKING AT FRICKING CUSTOMS??????!!!!!!!
But the other guy helped me correct it and when I went back with the other dude I was finally able to pass, but istg I was so embarrassed 😭😭😭😭😭
