Interest rant

I'm basically only making this to talk about my interests. May or not be updated (depends on what I feel like I guess)... but if anyone is at least a little bit interested in hearing me yap about my interests... here you go.

Some of main interests at the moment include:

Shows: Moriarty the Patriot (favorite thing ever), Serial Experiments Lain, Death Note, My Little Pony, (there's more but I don't feel like adding them).

Games: Any Racheldrawsthis games (Dead Plate, Elevator Hitch, etc), Wobble Dogs...

Subjects: Science, mathematics, psychology, fashion...

Starting off with... Moriarty the Patriot! (Major spoilers for basically the whole of the show and manga).

If you're not aware of this show, it's a readaptation of the Sherlock Holmes series. The main difference being that it is in Moriarty's perspective, rather than Sherlock's. I had seen quite a bit of people comparing the show to Death Note, but I feel that the two shows have quite a bit of differences when it comes to the main characters. While both of them strive to change the world, and both end using crime to do it... William (Moriarty) never planned to become some form of 'god' like Light did. Instead he felt as if he had to die in the end, thinking it was the only way he could 'atone' for what he had done. I personally really this version of Moriarty (not only because in the original Sherlock series he is barely ever mentioned) since it gives him a lot more depth in a way. It makes me so sad that I don't really see anybody discussing the psychological aspects of the show, because it is SUCH a big part of it. I always thought it was cool to see so many of the characters go through these mental states... especially how they got through it (since they wouldn't have any actual diagnosis for it since it was like in the 19th century)... when it continues into the manga and William is convinced to continue on living, there were many positive messages that have stuck with me.... I truly wish this show got the attention it so very much deserves.
