Entry #3

I hav e type 1 diabetes meaning my pancreas doesn't make any insulin which you need to like live, and I finally got an insulin pump almost a year ago. But yesterday I ran out of pods(insulin pumps) and had to go back to giving shots because my doctor cancelled the perscription for more. So for the past few days I've had to give 32 units of long acting insulin once a day and fast acting insulin every time I eat. But the whole reason I switched to using an insulin pump is because I absolutely hate needles and I haven't even ate much but my bloodsugar keeps going high so I need to give more insulin which means more shots and more needles. But if I don't give insulin It could literally kill me or cause fainting/passing out, throwing up (I also actually hate throwing up so much) really bad headaches, ect and if I let it be high for too long I would need to go to the hospital and I don't really like going there so I kinda have to but it takes me like an hour to finally give insulin and it leaves bruises and I always end up accidentally getting cut by the needles and then I'll be at like 200 and like 10 minutes later without giving myself a shot my bloodsugar will just randomly go down because I've only been diabetic for 5 years so my pancreas will sometimes (not often tho) just randomly start to kinda work or something idk. But also before I ran out of pods they were expiring early and I would bleed like every time I took one off because I kept accidentally putting them in the wrong spot.
