Hi! My name is Sage! I know this platform is mainly supposed to be for people nostalgic of the "Good ol' days" involving the rise in popularity of a historic platform called Myspace but personally i never was on there. I always enjoyed spending hours of my day watching YouTube videos on every subject imaginable. What attracted me here was the beauty found in a slower paced form of content consumption.

The dumber our phones are, the better. Think about the phone you have and how you use it. Everyone knows they scroll too much but nobody quite does anything about it. How can a person of my generation live without a phone in such bustling a busy times? The key is using your resources wisely.

The 80-00's were the best decades to live in technologically. Thinking about our last point and how we have an abundance in advancements in the tech field, electronics have caused a decent amount of intrapersonal damage between thousands of relationships world-wide. However, that is not to ignore the massive amounts of ease and luxury our advanced economy produces, but to instead remind us the importance of slowing down, living in the moment and enjoying times in our lives that only last a season.

A balance is required with everything in life, no matter if its a teen learning how much sleep they need to function for school or an adult budgeting how many beers until he forgets his ex, we all have to find our personal balance. It reminds me of a seminar from Ted Talk by John Bellaimey, who stated that the concept was rooted in philosophies dating far far back. Yin and Yang. The ultimate model of the existence and need for both sides to exist for proper order to be found. It represents the duality and complexity of not just the universe, but down to the individual personal experience.

There is beauty in the storm, for when the clouds part and the sun shines, all is revealed under its burning radiance.

hi Sage! :)
I agree with your thoughts, it's such a hectic tech-driven life, sometimes we have to take a step back and appreciate the moments that really matter
